Step 2: Mixing the Soil

Mixing the potting soil should include one pot of potting or garden soil with one pot of organic compost. This means that the ratio of this mixture should be one to one – equal measures. Due to the fact that these trees usually hail from the rainforest, they will require a similar environment as that found on the rain forests.

In the bottom of your pot, lay two inches of gravel and then fill three quarter of the pot with the potting mixture you made previously. However, avoid using your garden soil as it may easily bring diseases and weeds into the pot as this particular fruit is used to Asian environments.

Step 3: Setting the Garcinia Cambogia Roots

Set the tree roots of garcinia cambogia on the soil and then pack some more potting mixture around and over them. Carefully, plant the tree and leave at least some three inches of space between the top of your pot and the soil surface as the tree will buldge as it grows and you don’t want it to over flow.
